some complain that the PRD is all karaoke halls and dance music clubs.On the surface it might seem that way, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find there’s a vibrant underground music scene just waiting to be discovered.On any given week you can catch an angry Beijing hardcore show, some Shanghai jazz, or at least a good college rock band. We went looking around the PRD and found a host of venues that seem to have popped-up from nowhere in the last twelve months or so, confirming our suspicion than live music in Guangdong is far from obsolete.
